For those of you who believe that social media can't be measured, here's an interesting new study.

Wiki provider Wetpaint and the Altimeter Group focused on 100 companies from the 2008 Best Global Brands and the various social media platforms they used including Facebook, Twitter, forums, wikis, and blogs.  The data implies that companies' involvement in social media has led to their increase revenues.

ReadWriteWeb has more information about the study and link out to it.

What do you think?
